Ocean Fox Diving is based in Sarasota, Florida and is one of three independently owned and operated Ocean Fox Dive Centers in Florida and The Bahamas.

Our core values are: diving, not selling; creating confident, safe divers; helping families come together in a fun, exciting new sport that everyone can enjoy; and incorporating environmental awareness and scientific expertise into the sport of diving.

Diving, not Selling

As a Dive Center, rather than a Dive Shop, our focus is on diving, not selling – and in this we feel that we are unique to Sarasota. Diving is a way of life to us, not just a business.

Confident, Safe Divers

All of our courses are taught by us, not third-party contracted Instructors. We are PADI (www.padi.com)   Instructors with decades and thousands of dives of experience. We pride ourselves on the fact that upon completion of an entry-level course with us, our students feel and look like veteran divers – not divers who were rushed through training so that they can start buying stuff.

Family Values

Ocean Fox Diving is owned and operated by our family, and we feel that diving is a wonderful and perfect way to bring families together in today’s fast-paced, digital age. Diving as a family is fun and everyone gets to share experiences that can last a lifetime.

Environment and Science

Stephanie previously worked in the Center for Shark Research at Mote Marine Laboratory (www.mote.org) and at the University of Chicago as a Research Biologist. Her expertise enables us to provide our divers with unique knowledge about the environment that they dive in – here in the Gulf of Mexico and beyond.
